  1. In order to keep NFX in constant development I have decided to offer
  2. licensed versions. NFX is still freeware for most users and will remain
  3. that way. If you have any questions about the licensing aspect please
  4. contact me and I'll try and clear things up.

  7. There two types of licenses that can be obtained are:
  8.  
  9.  1. Personal
  10.     This license costs a one time fee of $15 for one user. The license
  11.     allows an individual to use NFX in a business and government environment.
  12.     A personal code is also given to use with NFX that distinguishes
  13.     it from the free version.
  14.  
  15.  2. Custom
  16.     This is a site license that costs $80 and allows an organization to
  17.     use and distribute the Custom version of NFX among its members.
  18.  
  19.     A special branding program is included that allows NFX to be modified.
  20.     You can include 5 lines of 70 character text in the programs initial
  21.     window and 20 lines of 80 character text in the ending screen. You can
  22.     use this space to place information about your organization.
  23.  
  24.     An example of this would be for BBS operators that may want to send
  25.     out  new user kits to its members. The initial window can include the
  26.     name, telephone number, and address of the bbs. The ending screen
  27.     can include the location and filenames of certain files like virus
  28.     detectors and compression programs.
